The identification and analysis of the import special blowing powder compound were made by means of chemical analysis and instrumental analysis. The results showed the compound was consisted of PVC (70%), stabilizer (4%), CaCO3, (5%), blowing agent (2%) and a proper amount of plasticizer, lubricant and coloring pigment. This dissection provided an important basis for the development of special blowing compound.
