GSP is a caving prevention,water loss reduction agent for drilling fluid,which is chemically madefrom a variety of constituents through a special process。 GSP svnthesis and its functional mechanism are dis-cussed.Test and,applicaion indicate that GSP provides high efficiency and versatility,combines water loss reduc-tion,caving prevention and lubrication into itself,and offers excellent gas and oil formation protection as well.Itis easv to use and can achieve obvious technical and economical benefit.
