We obtain a set of universal radiation formulas for a relativistic charged particle moving in curved magnetic field lines with arbitrary pitch angle, which can reduce to the formulas for either synchrotron radiation or curvature radiation in appropriate limits. These universal formulas present a new radiation mechanism.Since magneitic field lines are generally curved, this new mechanism can more realistically describe the radiation from charged particles in various magnetic systems,especially in the magnetosphere of pulsars.
