Local Libraries and Information Institutions under the System of Market-Oriented Economy

从我国地方图书情报工作的现实出发,论述了地方图书情报机构面向市场经济应确立智力与经济结合、用户第一和知识商品竞争的观念;建立行政、经济(市场)、社团多元化的管理运行机制;对地方性图书情报机构面向市场经济的内容和任务提出了一些初步意见。

Based on the present situation of local libraries and information institutions, the article sets forth some new concepts , in which the integration of intelligence and economy, good service for users and competition in the market as a commodity should be defined; and the establishment of a diversified administrative mechanism, and the transformation of the original operation ways. The article also gives some view-points on the contents and tasks of local libraries and information institutions under the system of market-oriented economy.
