摘要
信息作为一种资源,它要通过传递与利用来实现其价值,通过交流与共享而倍增其价值。因此必须走开放式的、网络化的道路,以实现全国及世界范围的信息资源共享。Internet网是当前世界上最大最流行的计算机网,又被人们称之为全球信息资源网,本文阐述了石油大学(北京)在连接Internet网的实践中所作的一些尝试,并对Internet网的主要功能进行了简要的介绍。
As a resource, information realizes its value through transmission and utilization and proliferation through exchangement and sharing. Therefore,we must open up and conduct network to realize national and worldwide information resource sharing. Internet is the widest,the most popular computer network in the world. It is also called "Global Information Resource Network". The paper illustrates some tests in the practice of using Internet in Beijing Petroleum University and briefly introduces the main function of Internet.
