摘要
本文介绍人工智能技术和专家系统在钢铁工业申的应用现状。数学模型对认识和控制生产过程是很重要的，但是由于大部分生产过程都十分复杂，所以不能用数学的方法精确地进行描述．然而这样的过程却可以由操作者根据自己的知识和经验进行满意的控制．正是因为这个原因，人工智能和专家系统对于实现钢铁工业的生产过程自动化是一种理想的技术．
Most of processes in the steel industry are so complicated that they can not be fully controlled by conventional mathematical models. Artificial Intelligence technology,especially expert systems,have proven a practical means to utilize knowledge and expertise of human experts to improve control reliability,accuracy and efficiency of computer systems in the industry. Many well-known Al applications and expert systems have been cited in this review.The features,profits and limitations of these systems have been discussed. And proposals on the study and application of Al and ES in Chinese steel indll,try hay been presented in this review.
