The effects of geometry and parameters of a spiral mandrel blown-filmdie on its performance are analyzed systematically.The geometry and para-meters studied here include;1)flow mixing channel,number of channels,spiral angle,spiral length,initial flight clearance,initial channel depth,channel width and taper angle of the annular channel in the spiral mandrelsection;2)cone angle in the tapered section and 3)length and gap in theland section,Moreaver,the scale—up of blown-film die is discussed.
