An analytic solution of laminar natural convective heat transfer between vertical parallel plates isderived and is discussed in detail. The value of the channel heat transfer effectiveness as a key parameter ofchannel nature convective heat transfer is emphasized. In addition, an approximate expression of the analytic solution is also presented.
