摘要
讨论了腔内倍频Nd:YAG激光器中的偏振匹配原理以及由于倍频晶体双折射效应所引起的偏振损耗,分析了解决这一矛盾的一种有效方法——腔内插入1.06μm激光的1/4λ波片的基本原理。
The principle of polarization matching in intracavity frequency doubled ND:YAG laser andthe polarization loss due to the natural birefringence of the crystal have been discussed.The principlesresulting in no polarization loss in the laser resonator by interposing a quarter wave plate of the funda-ment frequency have been analysed。
