卫矛矢尖蚧在陕西关中地区１年２代，以受精雌成虫在寄生植物的茎、叶上越冬。若虫２龄，雌雄异型。雌成虫平均产卵量７９．３粒，雄成虫寿命１～２ｄ，雌雄性比为１．１：１。天敌昆虫有红点唇瓢虫、盾蚧小方头甲和红圆蚧金黄小蜂。

The larvae had two age stages, dioecism.A female adult laid 79.3 eggs averagely. Male could only live for two days. The ratio of female to male was 1. 1: 1. The natural enemies were Chilocorus kuwanae Sitlvestri, Cybocepnalus nipponi Endroby -Yonge and Prospeella aurantili Howard respectively.
