On natural resources development and transportation construction in northwest China

论述了开发我国西北地区自然资源与建设交通的目的和意义，重点对具有全国经济意义的四大奖自然资源的开发和交通发展状况进行了分析，提出了本区交通发展的战略布局构想。根据自然资源的配置状况，把大西北分为３个能源和工业原料基地开发区，并提出发展铁路、公路交通相应的战略部署，旨在促进本区经济全面迅速发展。

This article discusses the purpose and significance of natural resoturces development and trans-portation construction in n orthwest China. It analyses in detail four k in ds of natural resoures whichhave national economic significance as well as the conditions of resources development and the construc-tion of a transportation network.The area is divided into three different development bases of energyresources and industrial material according to the natural resources distribution and a correspordingstrategy is offered for the railway and highway development so as to promote the economic developmentof this area fast and comprchensivcly.
