摘要
中国科学院文献情报中心图书馆自动化集成系统是在引进美国传技公司的 TOTAL S图书馆自动化集成系统的基础上 ,经过进一步地本地化改造和二次开发后建立和运行起来的。本文着重介绍 TOTAL S系统先进的设计思想和实现技术 ,以及在功能实现和数据组织方面的特点。它采用了九十年代计算机信息处理的主流技术 。
The library automation integrated system of the Documentation a nd Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which based on TOTALS library automation integrated system imported from Transtech International Corp. U.S.A. , has been set up and run since 1993. This article introduces the TOTALS system and its characteristics in detail. The ideas and technologies adapted by TOTALS system are significant to the development of library automation system and library information network system.
