摘要
减小道间距和采用分区恒角速度技术实现了第一代磁光盘到第二代磁光盘的飞跃。坑缘记录方式、超高磁分辨技术、短波长激光二级管和直接改写技术的应用,将使下一代磁光盘的存储容量和数传率成倍增长。本文介绍最新的磁光记录技术,估计其对光盘存储容量和数传率的增长程度,并预测磁光盘存储容量的发展趋势。
Track pitch reduction and zoned constant angular velocity fromat lead the leapfrom the first generation of magneto -optical disk to the second one .The application of newtechnologies, such as mark-edge recording,groove/land recording.magnetic superresolu superresolution, short wavelenglh laser cliode and direct overwrite. woould improve the capacity and datatransfer rate of future generation of magneto- optical disk. Fact ors contributing to densityincrease and access time decrease are indicatecl. Some comparisons with effects of magneto-optical technologies are also made. At last f the tendency of future magneto-optical diskis predicted.
