This essay is an introduction of my personal experience in editing video teaching ma-terial.It gives an explanation of the important role which suitable material and idealrhythm play in the process of editing video teaching material.It also gives abrief accountof how desirable material can be well selected.In the essay,a detailed analysis of the fac-tors is made in particular that may affect a good control of ideal rhythm and how to getthe ideal rhythm under control in practice is also carefully explained.
