METHODS FOR ENGINEERING GEOLOGIC EXPLORATION STUDY ON COVERED KARST AT SANJlANGKOU DAM FOUNDATION SITE

本文以三江口坝基为例,介绍了运用常规地质勘察手段分析研究覆盖型岩溶地区坝基工程地质条件的一些方法,通过施工已证明,勘察的主要结论和工程地质预测评价比较符合实际,研究方法是成功的。

This paper takes the Sanjiangkou dam foundation as an example to describe some of conventional geological methods used in the study of engineering geological conditions of dam foundation in an area with Covered-type karst. The operation of construction has proved that the exploration conclusions and the engineering geological prognosis are in many ways coincident with the concrete conditions, that is to say,the geologic research methods are successful.
