Abstract Since mid-1980's, the inflaton in Asian 'four tigers' has reacheda worrible extent, which is basically due to the oversupply ofcurrencies. The oversupply of currencies is closely related witheconomic transition from labor-intensive to capital-intensive andtechnology-intensive capacity. Besides, the inflation is also reinforcedby the following factors: 1) the influence of demand-pull; 2) the effectof cost-push; 3) the promotion of imports.
