Protective effect of zinc on hemolysis induced by quartz in vitro

摘要 本文观察锌对石英溶血的抑制作用。石英对RBC膜有很强的破坏能力,当RBC悬液中加入Zn^(2+),浓度从0.08μmol/ml起,石英的溶血作用受到抑制。本文进一步说明Zn^(2+)对RBC的保护作用以作用于RBC膜的可能性较大,扫描电镜观察表明石英能使人RBC失去原有形态结构,加有Zn^(2+)的RBC,再加石英后,细胞形态完整。 It is well known that quartz can strongly destroy the membrane of ery-throcyte and induce hemolysis.In this article the results showed that 4.6 mg/ml quartz caused breaking of 50% erythrocytes and 0.08μmol/ml or more zinc inhibited the hemolysis.There was an apparent correlation between dose and protective effect on hemolysis.It was also identified by morphological observation using electron micrograph.Zn2+ may react with the surface substances of ery-throcyte and prevent from hemolysis.
