检索人员的综合能力和工作态度对检索质量起决定性作用。综合能力包括医学及相关学科的基本知识,外语,分析能力及对检索工具的熟悉程度等。工作态度指责任心、服务和交谈技巧等。为了提高检索人员的综合素质应建立严格的检索制度,将检索工作与情报学的教学及研究结合,并对检索人员进行培训和考核。
It is the staffs working ability and attitude that decide the quality of medical literature retrieval . Working ability is consisted of the fundamental knowledge of medical sciences and related sciences, foreign language competence, analysis ability, and masterfulness of reference tools and retrieval systems. Staffs attitude toward users includes sense of responsibility, art of conversation and service. In order to improve them, strict rules for literature retrieval must be worked out, retrieval service must be combined with teaching and researching of information science, and retrieval staff must be trained and checked regularly.
