摘要
生物学获得以分子生物学为核心的辉煌，完全依赖于其概念的还原，但生物学概念的还原始终有其难以克服的困难。生物学概念还原的逻辑和伦理的困境使我们清醒地意识到，还原论纲领在生命科学中的贯彻远比物理学要困难，但这决不意味着我们应该拒斥分析而接受整体主义的“莫须有”方法论。在医学上，诊断是理性分析的，而治疗则是实践综合的，还原论方法曾经是也仍然是我们探索自然奥秘的强有力的实践工具，然而单一地作为应付自然挑战的理论工具是远远不够的。任何方法论都不是普遍的，当今科学哲学正在揭示其局限性，方法论或认识论的自然主义就是在这种情形下产生的￣［１］。
AbstractBiology has obtained the glory which taken
themolecular biology for its core. That depends on the reduc-tion of
its conceptions, but there are so many formidabledifficulties all the
time. The logical and ethical troubles inthe reduction make us well
aware that it is much more dif-ficult to execute the program of
reduction theory in lifescience than in physics. While that doesn’t
mean that weshould refuse the analysis and accept the“unwarranted”
methodology of wholism. In medicine,the diagnosis isreasonable and
analytical,while the treatment is praticaland synthetical. The method
of reduction theory has al-ready been and will remain to be a working
reasonable tool with which we explore the mysteries of mature. But it
isnot enough at all if we use this single prattical tool to copewith
the problems of nature. Any methodology is not uni-versal and contem
porgry philosophy of science is revealingits limitations.It is under
this circumstance that themethodological or epistemological
naturalism has been pro-duced.
