The adsorption on sulfidized WGS(water gas shift) catalyst NiMoK/Al_2O_3 hasbeen studied by pulse gas chromatography.The changes of entropy and enthalpy of H_2O ad-sorption were obtained from the retention volume determined at various temperatures. Theresults show that the △H_a and △S_a on sulfidized catalyst were greater than that of the oxi-dized catalyst. Furthermore,△H_a and △S_a of catalyst increase with the sulfidation tempera-ture. It is thought that the higher the sulfidation temperature, the more the adsorption sitesof H_2O on the surface of catalyst, and the weaker the adsorbability.
