The rate of zinc delayed corrosion and the role of cetyl pyridine chloride in the de-layed corrosion inhibition of zinc in hydrochloric acid have been investigated by weight iossmethod.The experimental data have been treated with adsorption theory and Mathurmethod which leading to a rate equation, from which the kinetic parameters are calculated.The mechanism and relationship among temperature,concentration and delayed corrosion in-hibition have been discussed.
