The polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA), propylene oxide(PO)and ε-caprolactone(ε-Cl)catalyzed by Ln(acac)_3/BuMgCl (Ln=Y, Nd, Sm)has been studied.The results show that the polymerization conversion of MMA in petroleum ether was higherthan that in aromatic hydrocarbons and polar solvents, and the polymerization conversion ofε-Cl in petroleum ether and toluene reached 100%. The molecular weight distribution param-eters of PMMA, PPO and P(ε-Cl)were 1.37,1. 39 and 2. 10 respectively.
