This paper presents a summary of technical achievements accomplished during the development of a 780nm infra-red laser phototypesetting and photolettering film, and reports briefly technical problems confronted and solved, e. g. double-jet emulsified AgX, infra-red spectral sensitization, hi-temperature rapid processing, anti-halation layer ect.. The article cited also testing datas of this film in comparaison with overseas similar films.
