This paper introduces some methods mostly used for toning the black and white image of slide film widely presented in scientific symposiums and educational activities. The author deals mainly with the ferrocyanide toning process, e. g. iron blue toning, copper red toning. Toning solutions compositions, procedures and instructions are given in details.
