In crude automatic instrument metering system,crude densities are mostly metered by vibration-pipe fluid densimeters. Because transducer vibration-pipe’sfrequencys are very sensitive to flow field conditions such as pressure, temperature of mediums etc.Changes of medium conditions will directly affect the accuracy of density metering. Density is an important parameter, it directly involves the economic benefits to the both sides of crude transaction.
