In order to meet the need of off-shore petroleum development, a kind of new type mix-transpertation pump with which multiphase mix-fluid can be transported has been developed. This article introduces the existing situation abroad of the pump,the advantage and disadvantage of the pump in view of technology.And the necessity of developing and using the multiphase mix-transportation pump on land, shallowseaand desert oilfield is also discussed.
