摘要
叙述了在“KAONFactory”Booster腔的R&D工作中,用平行式偏磁铁氧体调谐实验腔进行的模式测试和阻尼的实验结果,表明结构形状复杂的同轴腔,有十分丰富的高次振荡模式,基模有复杂的场分布。在腔的适当位置放置铁氧体介质,对除基模外的各种寄生模式均有良好的阻尼作用。利用适当设计的谐振环路,亦可对特定频率的危险寄生模,进行有效的阻尼。
The paper describes experimental results on the modes measurement and the high ordermodes(HOM) damping in a test cavity which is developed for the R&D work of KAON FactoryBooster Ring. Electric field distribution of fundamental mode is complicated.Damping effect isexcellent among HOMs when the ferrite is put in the suitable place of test cavity. Effective damp-ing also can happen to the special mode by designing a suitable resonant loop.
