ourteen cases of skin defects associated with bone fracture were treatedsurgically with repair of separation delay flaps. Ultrasonic doppler techniquewas used to detect the blood-supply of flaps in order to guide the blood vesselreconstruction. The results revealed that when the echo of blood-stream expandedto about 1/2 long of flap, the flap rotation could be performed. The resultsof treatment were satisfactory.
