Design of the layout of oil pressure hoist for surface spillway radial service gates at Manwan Plant is briefly introduced. Special arrangement of a wraped-upwards hydro-cylinder was used for the first time nationwide. Analysis is made concerning the advantage of the project thanks to the wraped-upwards hydraulic hoist.
