The design problem of on-line pattern classifier of tea is concerned. The methed of seleCtion of pattern features of the classifier is presented. The principle of the pattern classifier,which is used on-line for recognition of tea and tea-stalk, is also presented. The methods ofrealizing the classifier are proposed and a practical application example is given.
