Influence of Different Frequencies on Electreoacupuncture Analgesia and Tolerance

已有实验证明:连续数小时或反复间断电针后,电针产生的镇痛效应逐渐下降而趋于消失,即产生了'耐受'现象,停针后这种耐受现象可逐渐消失。

Analgesic effect and tolerance induced by repe-titive electroacupuneture(EA)at different frequen-cies(5Hz,50 Hz and 100 Hz)were observed and ana-lysed in 40 rats.The effect of EA for one courseof treatment including 6 days(30 min/day)wasalso assessed in the other 20 animals.The conclu-sions were as follows:1.More intense,more rapid and more prolon-ged analgesic effect could be obtained in 50 Hz and100 Hs groups than in 5 Hz group.2.Tolerance to repetitive electroacupunctureseemed to develop more slowly,more slightly in 50Hz and 100 Hz groups than in 5 Hz group.3.The results suggest that higher frequenciesshould be used in acupuncture anaesthesia and acu-puncture analgesia for surgical operation.4.No marked tolerance was observed in therats undergoing one course of EA treatment,althou-gh the effect of EA was indeed slightly reduced.
