摘要
科学传统对科学的基础研究有十分重要的导向与规范作用。牛顿依附于17世纪的科学传统,因而在万有引力定律的发现中独领风骚,然而在他的探索过程中,最关键的进展恰恰发生在他突破了这种科学传统的束缚之时。牛顿对科学传统的天才把握,对今天的物理学基础研究仍有启发作用。
The scientific tradition plays an importarit guiding and prescribing role in a scientific basic re-search. Conforming to the scientific tradition in the 17th century,lssac Newton made himself as- cending to the throne of developing the law of universal gravitation. However,it was just afterbreaking through the confinement of the scientific tradition that he made a decisive breakthrough in his exploration of the law. Newton's perfect handling of the scientific tradition prooidp enlight-en ment on today's basic research in physics.
