摘要
初步研究了大黍草的植物学特征、生物学特性、几项主要经济性状以及栽培技术，发现大黍草的草质柔软，产草量高，品质优良，适应性强，栽培容易，是一种优良的一年生禾本科牧草。
his study dealt with the biological characters,economic properties and cultivating techniques of Panicum maximum. It was found that Panicum maximum was a soft grass with high yield of top quality forage. It had a wide adaptability and was easy to culti-vate in various conditions.
