STRIVE TO QUICKEN THE STEPS OF ENTERPRISATIO AND MAKE GREATER DEVELOPMENT IN GEOLOGICAL EXPLORATION ECONOMY WITHH THE THEORY OF BUILDING SOCIALISM WITH CHINESE CHARACTERISTICS AS THE GUIDING PRINCIPLE

本文总结了冶金地勘部门十年来改革与发展所取得的成就．提出了今后七年的指导方针是；＂效益为中心，加速企业化＂．并提出了改革与发展的主要目标．认为：一要坚持为冶金工业发展和国家经济建设服务的方针，按照市场需求巩固和发展冶金地勘工作；二要着力进行战略性结构调整，加速经济发展，提高地勘经济整体实力；三要抓住机遇，加大改革力度，加速推进地勘单位企业化，建立适应社会主义市场经济要求和冶金地质特点的新体制；四要坚持＂两手抓、两手都要硬，保证改革与发展目标的全面实现．

The article gives a summary of the successes registered by the geological exploration departments under the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry in their reform and de velopment over the past 10 years and set forth the guiding pricniple of 'focusing on economic results and accelerating the process of enterprisation' for work of the next 7 years. It also points out the main tusks to be accomplished in order to win all-round srccess in future reform and development, which are: 1. to foster geological exploration work of the metallurgical sector, following the principle of developing metallurgical industry in the service of the nation's economic construction and according to the demands of the market; 2. to carry out with vigour strategic regorm of the structure, adrance economic derelopment and enchnce the strength of geological exploration economy as a whole; 3. to seize the opportunity and exert greater efforts in reform, quicken the steps of enterprisation and establish a new system fitting in with the socialist market system and according to the characteristics of metallurgical geology; and 4. to give equal importance to both economic development and the development of socialist culture and ideology.
