提出机械工程基础理论由机械系统学、机械信息学、机械控制学、机械智能学组成的新观点。指出机械产品已进入机械、微电子、计算机集成，并论述模块化是提高企业竞争能力和解决人才培养问题的关键。

This paper presents a new viewpoint that fundamentals of mechanical engineering should be composed of the machinery system theory,the machinery information theory, the machinery control theory and machinery intelligence theory, and also presents that mechanical products have practically been integrated by machinery,microelectron and computer, and expounds that modularization is a key of improving enterprise's competitive capacity and training talents.
