An improved multiple exposure photography of sperm movement with a 10 um counting chamber was made. It includes a phase-contrast microscope, a still camera, 100 ASA black and white film and multiple exposure xenon stroboscope system. Wherethe film was exposed six light flashes in 1 second. The technique was used each of 0. 1ms duration and at intervals of 199. 9 ms, for clinical and research purposes to determine the swimming velocity of sperm and get some semen parameters as follows: (1) percentage motility of sperm; ( 2 ) mean movement speed of the motile sperm population ; (3) movement speed of each sperm ; (4)mean movement speed of total sperm; ( 5 ) distribution of the velocities of motile sperm; (6)swimming tracks of each sperm; (7)motility index; (8)sperm density.
