In this article,necessity for determintion of core Journals is described.After statistics of amount of pub- lished article,amount of abstract as well as that of citation,comprehensive evaluation and specialists selection, tables for core journals of material science in Chinese are obtained.Problems concerning the current journals of material science are also dealt with.
