老年期痴呆病人照料者的心身健康分析

The Psychological and Physical Health of Family Members Caring for an Elderly Person with Dementia.

本研究对１１０名痴呆老人的主要照料者（实验组）和１１０名（对照组）在年龄、性别、文化程度相匹配的非痴呆老人家属进行了心身健康比较调查。结果表明前组的心理和躯体损害指数均明显高于后组。其影响因素为照料负担、照料者的工作、性别、年龄、文化程度、与被照料者的关系及被照料者的性别、年龄、痴呆严重度。表明照料痴呆老人的这种种会引起照料者的心理生理损害。

The main purpose of the present study is to determine whether there are psychological andphysical health problems among family caregivers(CGs ) of elderly petson with dementia and try to find anindex to indicate CG’s health condition. Data were obtained by interview from the main CGs of demented pa-tients in their family(110 cases),and from a control group(110 cases)made up of family members of an el-derly person without dementia living in sarne area with same sex,age and education level(NCGs).CGs hadsignificantly higher score of physical impairment index(PhII ) and psychological impairment index(PsII ).The association between caregiving and the health index was obviously. Other factors that would affect thePsII were the working status of CGs , the relationship between CG and the patient,the patient’s sex and theseverity of dementia. The factors that would affect the PhII vtere the sex and education of CG,and the sexand age of the elderly. There were no significant relations between the CG’s psychsomatic health and themarital status,the type of dementia, and living together or not.the results suggest ed that caregiving for anelderly person with dementia was a chronic stress for cargivers,which might cause psychological and physicalimpairment.
