Put forward in the article are the evaluating method and a complete overall index system for appraisal of science and technology progress' level in transportation enterprises. Along with the transportation's properties, the article proposes such contents as principles followed by index system, administrative structure, index meaning, index coefficient and index standardized treatment. So that indexes are adopted in evaluation and application of science and technology progress for transportation enterprise.
