摘要
以湖北农村学龄儿童519名为对象,调查其膳食营养状况,暗适应能力、眼结膜印迹细胞(CIC)和血清维生素A(VA)含量,对VA缺乏儿童补充VA制剂并观察其效果。结果表明,VA摄入量仅占供给量标准的65.8%,CIC异常率达59.1%;一次性口服20万或10万IUVA后,血清VA值增加为0.54~0.66μmol/L(P<0.01),异常CIC恢复率达81.4%,表明一次性口服大剂量VA制剂补充VA缺乏是有效的;暗适应能力与CIC、血清VA含量间均无显著相关性,似不宜作为评价VA营养状况的良好手段。
We investigated nutritonal status, measured the dark adaptation time, performed conjunctival impressin cytology(CIC) and determined serum vitamin A level in 519 rural school-age children, and examined the effect of supplementing vitamin A preporation in children with vitamin A deficiency. The results indicated that mean vitamin A intake of the total subjects was only 65. 8 % of RDA, children with abnormal cytology accounted for 50. 1 % of 519 children. After vitamin A - deficient children received by oral administration 200000 IU or 100000 IU of vitamin A, their serum vitamin A coneentrations rose by 0. 54 ~ 0. 66μmol/L(P <0.01), 81. 4 % of children with abnormal cytology reverted to normal cytology, it was revealed that supplementation with a large dosage of vitamin A is feasiblc in treatmcnt of vitamin A deficiency. The dark adaptation time was not coreelated with CIC and serum vitamin A level, and should not be used as a good methed for assessment of vitamin A status.
