摘要
建立了一个1.38m的聚乙烯球为全吸收探测器和 ̄(235)U裂变室、 ̄6Li玻璃和 ̄(55)Mn活化箔化热中子探测器的全吸收探测系统。对探测器的性能进行了仔细研究。用聚乙烯代替增殖材料检验了全吸收探测原理的有效性。对三种热中子探测器的倍增率实验结果进行了比较。
A measurement system of total absorption method was set up,which includes a l. 38m polyethylenespheer used for total absorption detector and three kinds of thermal nurtron detectors: ̄(235)U fission chamber, ̄(6)Li glass detector and ̄(55)Mn activation foil.The performances of detectors were studied in detail. The validityof the experimental principle was examined by substituting polyethylene for multiplication material. The ex-perimental results of multiplication for the three thermal neutron detectors were compared.(
