所谓中国传统园林景观是指人工营造的"第二自然",依照权属关系,可分为皇家园林、私家园林、寺观园林和其它园林等。园林景观是中国传统文化的一部分,也相应地形成了较为完善的系统,主要表现为:独立发展的完整系统、多重因素带动的创新系统、早熟的景观观念系统。中国园林景观文化极早便开始了向外传播的进程,范围涉及亚洲和欧洲,甚至美洲。传统园林景观映射出中华民族巨大的创造能力,是我们从事现代城市景观设计取之不尽的灵感源泉。
