摘要 生态学本科生课程存设置太泛,重点不突出,学习基本知识的课程太多,涉及实践性、综合性的太少;各个学校在生态学专业开办上,特色不明显;毕业生的基本素质和能力有所下降等问题。建议在理工、文科院校开办工程学、文化学、管理学体系生态学专业;增加《生态学经典著作选读》、《生态学发展史(纲)》、《生态学著名论文选读》课程,强化应用性课程学习,以适应毕业生的就业需要。 The purpose of the paper is to evaluate the present undergraduate ecology education programs in China.Three major problems are identified including a lack of focus and a predominance of fundamental courses over comprehensive,hands-on courses,a scarcity of programs marked with uniqueness,and lowered quality of recent graduates in terms of basic knowledge and practical skills.The paper suggests that,in science and engineering and humanities institutions,ecology programs be integrated with such specialties as engineering,cultural studies and management;that such courses as Classical Readings in Ecology,History of Ecology and Selected Theses and Research Articles in Ecology be added to the curriculum;and that more practical,hands-on courses be offered to cater to the job market.
