Xu Xiaonian is a professor of economics and finance at the China Europe International Business School. He has been a managing director and head of research for China International Capital Corp. Ltd. and senior economist with Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. He has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank.
