THE ART OF JADE-CARVING TABLE SCREEN

发展到盛期的明清木雕家具,留下了众多的千古佳作,明清家具成了宝贵的民族遗产和独特的艺术奇葩。其中的嵌玉家具更是种类繁多,常见的有屏风、宝座、桌、椅、几、案、插屏、挂屏、床、榻等。有些大型的嵌玉家具的图案是由多块玉拼接而成的。优秀作品的拼接痕迹是随着设计好的图案线条而联结,严丝合缝,构思巧妙,制作精良。
