The following aspects can be strenghtened and improved for the engineering training in the course selection system : to make it more pertinent by using the method of classified guidance;to make it more practical by paying more attention to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude;to make it more effective by innovating teaching methods;and to make it possible at the same time to let teaching more close to practical production by enhancing tutors' capabilities of engineering practice for the cultivation of academic-practical teachers.
