This paper describes the disposal status of municipal solid waste at home and abroad,analyse trend of several commonly used municipal solid waste treatment technology and development at home and abroad,proposes that the method of applying the source control and recycling to achieve waste reduction firstly,then applying sanitary landfill mainly and supplementing composting and incineration to be the terminal treatment is suitable for our city comprehensive approach at present.
