在非洲国家中,自20世纪90年代以来,大量的非政府组织从事人权保护活动。这些非政府组织从事收集有关侵犯人权的信息、报道侵犯人权的事件,对被侵权的受害者提供援助、在法庭上为被侵犯者辩护等活动,对政府和国际监督团体施加压力,督促它们采取措施,释放无辜受监禁者,消除侵犯人权的行为。非洲非政府组织在人权领域广泛开展活动,尤其在维护妇女权益和少数族群权益方面作出了重要贡献。

In African countries,massive non-governmental organizations has been engaged in human rights protection since the 1990s.These non-governmental organizations collect information of violation of human rights,report events of human rights violation, provide aid to the victims of human rights violation,defense them in the court,bring the pressure to the government and the international surveillance association,supervise them to take the measure to release innocently prisoner,and eliminate the violation of human rights.Africa non-governmental organizations develop popularly activities in the human right field,especially make contribution in maintaining the rights and interests of women and the minority tribal groups.
