'Going abroad' has become the strategy objective for the future development of both SINOPEC and JHPA. With JHPA petroleum engineering teams gradually stepping out and opening up overseas markets,market agent constitutes a vital sector in the petroleum engineering market development;meanwhile,signing agency protocol is of vital importance in controlling law risk.The author has analyzed the possible law risk existing in properties and clauses of agency protocol in the field of international petroleum engineering and proposed eight key points of law risk prevention in signing agent protocol in order to better prevent law risk and guard the interests of going-abroad enterprises.
