Oilfield retired employees,a special group in society,once made positive contributions in the oilfield development Confronting today's aging society,improving managed services and ability in the work of oilfield retired employees will contributes not only to oilfield growth but also to social stability and harmonious progress.This paper illustrates the significance of strengthening the work,analyzes the existing problems in the work in the new period, and presents some practical measures to improve the work ability accordingly.
